Riemenstalden is a municipality in Schwyz District in the canton of Schwyz in Switzerland. The villages can be reached by road from Sisikon (Canton of Uri).

Riemenstalden has an area, as of 2006^[update], of 11.2 km² (4.3 sq mi). Of this area, 49.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while 25.5% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.2% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (25%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).

Alplersee is located on the slopes of Rophaien.

Riemenstalden has a population (as of 31 December 2015) of 89. As of 2007^[update], 2.4% of the population was made up of foreign nationals. Over the last 10 years the population has grown at a rate of 20%. All of the population (as of 2000^[update]) speaks German.

As of 2000^[update] the gender distribution of the population was 57.6% male and 42.4% female. The age distribution, as of 2008^[update], in Riemenstalden is; 12 people or 20.3% of the population is between 0 and 19. 15 people or 25.4% are 20 to 39, and 18 people or 30.5% are 40 to 64.
