Richard Peebles (born 1956), stage name Rikki, is a Scottish singer who has written songs for the band, Middle of the Road. Peebles's song Only the Light won the BBC's A Song for Europe contest in 1987. That same year the song placed 13th out of 22 entries at the Eurovision Song Contest. Articles in RadioTimes and the DailyRecord called it one of the worst UK performances in the history of the contest.
