Richard House Kyle (born April 30, 1937) is a Senior United States District Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Kyle received a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1959 and an LL.B. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1962. He was a law clerk, Hon. Edward J. Devitt, U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota from 1962 to 1963. He was a state solicitor general in the Office of the Minnesota State Attorney General from 1968 to 1970. He was in private practice in St. Paul, Minnesota from 1963 to 1992.

On March 20, 1992, Kyle was nominated by President George H. W. Bush to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. vacated by Robert G. Renner. Kyle was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 12, 1992, and received his commission on May 13, 1992. He assumed senior status on May 31, 2005 and was succeeded by Patrick J. Schiltz.
