Reticulomyxa is a genus of freshwater foraminifers. It is monospecific, and the type species is Reticulomyxa filosa. It is a very large foram and does not have a test as is common for forams. The organism has unique properties due to its large size and the structure of the anastamozing pseudopodia it creates and is used as a model organism for the way organelles are moved throughout the cytoplasm.
