René Laubies

René Laubies (1922–2006) was a French painter. He is associated with Tachisme and Art Informel but particularly linked to Nuagisme or the "cloudist" group of painters.

He died in the city of Mangalore in southern India in a government hospital where he was admitted by an unknown person in a critical condition as a total stranger with no bystanders.
