Raymond S. Kellis High School is a public secondary school located in Glendale, Arizona, United States, part of the Peoria Unified School District. The school opened its doors in August 2004 due to overcrowding at Peoria High School and rapid population growth in the surrounding area. The school is the district's fourth-largest, with approximately 1,850 students.
Kellis High School is located near the University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, and Jobing.com Arena, home of the Phoenix Coyotes.
In 2007 the marching band earned a rating of superior under the direction of Mr. Garrison.
In 2008 (their fourth year of existence and first year with a full student body), the Kellis Cougars boys' soccer team was awarded the title of 4A-II state champions.
In 2009, their second year with a full student body, the Kellis Cougars girls' basketball team won the 4A-II state championship.
In 2010, Edward Zuckerman won the school's first wrestling state title.
In 2011, the Kellis Varsity Cheerleading squad was crowned AIA 4A-I State Champions.
In 2012, Trevor Thompson won the Boys' Individual Division II State Championship.
In 2012-2013, Kellis varsity boys' 4x100 relay won the Division II state championship.
In 2012-2013, John Jacinto set a state record for touchdowns in a season, with 43.
In 2013, The Kellis boys varsity track and field team won the AIA Division II state championship.
Also in 2013, the Kellis Pom Team received The Arizona State Title and were the Runners-up AIA Nationals
