Raydio is the self-titled debut album by the group Raydio, formed by session guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Ray Parker Jr.
Released in 1978 on Arista Records, it featured two hit pop singles: "Jack and Jill" (number 8 pop, number 5 R&B, number 11 in the UK) and "Is This A Love Thing" (number 20 R&B, number 27 UK). The album, which was produced, engineered, mixed, and mainly written by Parker himself, peaked at number 27 on the Billboard charts in 1978 and was certified gold by the RIAA.
