Rareform is the second studio album by American progressive metal band After the Burial. It was released on July 22, 2008 through Sumerian Records. On September 15, 2009, the band released a re-mixed and re-mastered version of Rareform with alternative artwork and bonus features along with it being completely remastered with live drums and re-recorded vocals from the band's current vocalist, Anthony Notormaso in contrast to Grant Luoma, who performed lead vocals for After the Burial upon the first issue of Rareform. Both editions of the album were produced by the band's rhythm guitarist, Justin Lowe. "Berserker" was featured in Saints Row: The Third
Rareform was generally well received by the public. On Rate Your Music the album has an average rating of 3.45 of 5, based on more than 550 ratings, and on Sputnikmusic the original version of the album has a "great" average rating of 3.6 of 5, based on more than 650 ratings, and the rereleased version of the album has a "excellent" average rating of 3.9 of 5, based on more than 600 ratings.
