Ramachaari is a 1991 Indian Kannada language film directed by D. Rajendra Babu and produced by N. Veeraswamy. It starred V. Ravichandran and Malashri in the lead roles. The music was composed by Hamsalekha. The film was a remake of Tamil superhit film Chinna Thambi (1991) directed by P. Vasu.
The movie started after Ravichandrans dream project "Shanthi-Kranthi", When Ravi faced financial crisis for his venture, he was supposed to do a small budget movie.Kushboo, actress in Shanthi-kranthi and also Heroine in Ranadheera,Anjada gandu,Yugapurusha, came forward to help him.She convinced "Chinna thambi" producers and brought Dubbing rights. Then Ravichandran approached for distributors. Cash & Carry shooting started. Without prior plan Ravi sold distribution rights. Ramachari became "Megahit", Ravi's next dream project became Flop. ( This incident told by Ravichandran in "Preethiyinda Ramesh" Programme,Kasthuri channel)
Hamsalekha composed the music for the film and the soundtracks. The album has 8 soundtracks.
