Ralph Watson (born 20 January 1936) is a British actor whose credits include Z-Cars, Dixon of Dock Green, Doctor Who (in the serials The Web of Fear,The Monster of Peladon and Horror of Fang Rock),Porridge, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, The Bill, Agatha Christie's Poirot and Casualty. Also starred as a prison guard in the british film Mc Vicar 1980 - produced by The Who films LTD starring Roger Daltrey and Adam Faith.
Ralph was a pupil at at Gosforth Grammar School, Newcastle upon Tyne and later studied at Durham University, the Department of Fine Art, Newcastle upon Tyne (now Newcastle University), under Victor Pasmore, Richard Hamilton, Ralph Holland and Lawrence Gowing.
