Rajarhat

Rajarhat is a neighbourhood of Kolkata, located in North 24 Parganas district of the Indian state of West Bengal. Lying just on the periphery of the planned New Town, Kolkata, Rajarhat has seen huge spurt in real estate development. Rajarhat is part of the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation.

As per the 2011 census, Rajarhat had a total population of 402,844 persons, Males constitute 50.55% of the population and females 49%. Rajarhat has an average literacy rate of 89.69%.
