Rai Coast District is a district in the southeast of Madang Province in Papua New Guinea. It is one of the six administrative districts that make up the province.
Construction of a nickel processing plant for the Ramu Nickel Project, majority owned by the China Metallurgical Group Corporation, commenced in 2006 in Basamuk Bay, on the Rai Coast between Astrolabe Bay and Saidor. The project is expected to become operational in 2010.
