R.F.C. Seraing was a Belgian football club from the municipality of Seraing, province of Liège.
It was created in 1900 as F.C. Sérésien and it registered to the FA the same year as the matricule n°17. The prefix Royal was added in 1928.
The name changed in 1994 to R.F.C. Seraing and two years later, the club had to merge with neighbours Standard Liège (matricule n°16) due to financial problems. The matricule is thus not in use anymore.
Meanwhile, another club from the city called Seraing RUL, took the same name as RFC Seraing and play at the same stadium. This club is registered with the number 23 at the Belgian Federation and play in the fourth division. But there's no link and no fusion between these two clubs.
