Quirino is a fourth class municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 8,573 people.
Formerly known as Angaki (also spelled Angkaki in some sources), the municipality was renamed in June 1964 to Quirino in honor of Elpidio Quirino, the sixth President of the Philippines.
Quirino is politically subdivided into 9 barangays.
In the 2015 census, the population of Quirino, Ilocos Sur, was 8,573 people, with a density of 36 inhabitants per square kilometre or 93 inhabitants per square mile.
