Queen Fatuma of Zanzibar (fl. 1690) was a Swahili-speaking Queen in the late 17th century.
Fatuma came to the throne of Zanzibar in the 17th century. She allied with the Portuguese, who were fighting against the Sultanate of Oman for control of East Africa. In 1698 the Oman Arabs defeated the Portuguese, and Fatuma and her son were subsequently exiled to Oman. In 1709 she returned to Zanzibar, and died there at some point in the early 18th century.
