The Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles (青岛双星雄鹰) or Qingdao DoubleStar or Qingdao Eagles are a professional basketball team which is based in Qingdao, Shandong, China. The club plays in the North Division of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). DoubleStar is the club's corporate sponsor, and the team's mascot is an eagle.
Qingdao received a great deal of attention from various media outlets around the world when former National Basketball Association All-Star Tracy McGrady spent the 2012–13 CBA season as a member of the team, but despite strong individual efforts, "T-Mac" was unable to help the club qualify for that year's CBA Playoffs. In the 2014–15 CBA season, thanks to the extra addition of Hamed Haddadi, Qingdao received their first playoff appearance with the third-best record in the league, going as far as the semi-final round before being swept by the Liaoning Flying Leopards.
Note: Flags indicate national team eligibility at FIBA sanctioned events. Players may hold other non-FIBA nationality not displayed.
