Project GoGo Boys is a 2012 film directed by Jake Jaxson and produced by CockyBoys Studios, a gay pornographic film studio as a tribute to reality television shows. It chronicles the lives of gay nightclub performers (go-go boys) fighting their way to what is called the "top box". Critics considered the film as genre-bending, and blurring the lines between reality, performance arts and pornography sex.
The porn reality series, filmed in clubs and bars in New York City and Montreal, is structured as a series of five ordinary episodes and a sixth final "reunion" episode.
The film was nominated to a great number of Grabby Awards winning in four categories including "Best Movie" and "Best Director". and "Best Newcomers" for both Jake Bass and Max Ryder, co-stars of the film.
