Princess Marie Eleonore of Albania (Marie Eleonore Elisabeth Cecilie Mathilde Lucie Prinzessin von Wied; 19 February 1909 – 29 September 1956) was the only daughter of William, Prince of Albania and his wife Princess Sophie of Schönburg-Waldenburg.
She held the title of Princess of Albania. She was also styled Donika, in homage to Donika Kastrioti.
Marie Eleonore Prinzessin von Wied was born on 19 February 1909 at Potsdam, Brandenburg, Prusia.
She was the sister of Carol Victor, Hereditary Prince of Albania.
She married, firstly, Alfred Prinz von Schönburg-Waldenburg, son of Heinrich Prinz von Schönburg-Waldenburg and Olga Prinzessin zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg, on 16 November 1937 at Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
She married, secondly, Ion Octavian Bunea, son of Aureliu Bunea, on 5 February 1949 at Bucharest, Romania.
She died on 29 September 1956 at age 48 at communist internment camp, Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, on 29 September 1956, without issue.
She was given the name of Marie Eleonore Elisabeth Cecilie Mathilde Lucie at birth.
She gained the title of Princess of Wied (Prinzessin von Wied) at birth.
She gained the title of Princess Marie Eleonore of Albania in 1914.
From 5 February 1949, her married name became Bunea.
