The Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series was a retired award presented as part of the Primetime Emmy Awards. It was created in 2000, alongside the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Multi-Camera Series. From 2008 to 2010, the award was separated as Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (One Hour) and Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour). They were recombined from 2011 to 2016, only to be divided again in 2017.
Between 2008-2010, awards were bestowed for Outstanding Cinematography for a One Hour Series and Outstanding Cinematography for a Half-Hour Series.
