Prez-vers-Noréaz is a municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland.
Prez-vers-Noréaz is first mentioned in 1156 as de Pratellis.
Prez-vers-Noréaz has an area, as of 2009[update], of 5.7 square kilometers (2.2 sq mi). Of this area, 4.12 km2 (1.59 sq mi) or 72.5% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.08 km2 (0.42 sq mi) or 19.0% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.5 km2 (0.19 sq mi) or 8.8% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.01 km2 (2.5 acres) or 0.2% is either rivers or lakes.
Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 6.3% and transportation infrastructure made up 2.1%. Out of the forested land, 17.8% of the total land area is heavily forested and 1.2% is covered with orchards or small clusters of trees. The municipality is located in the Sarine district, on the Fribourg-Payerne road.
