Pooran Farrokhzad

Pooran Farrokhzad or Puran Farokhzad (Persian: پوران فرخزاد, February 1933 – December 29, 2016) was an Iranian writer, poet, playwright, and encyclopedist. She was author of Encyclopedia of Women Culture Makers in Iran and in the World which is the first comprehensive women's encyclopedia in Iran.

The poet Forough Farrokhzad and the singer Fereydoun Farrokhzad are Pooran's siblings.
