Ponnukku Thanga Manasu (English: The Girl has a golden heart) is a 1973 Tamil romantic drama film produced and directed by P. Madhavan. The film's script were written by Bala Murugan. The film starring Sivakumar, Jayachitra, Vijayakumar and Vidhubala in lead roles with Manorama, K. A. Thangavelu, M. R. R. Vasu played portraying supporting role. The film's soundtrack was composed by G. K. Venkatesh. The film was remade in Malayalam as Bhoomidevi Pushpiniyayi.
Vijayakumar who went on to become one of the popular actors in Tamil cinema made his acting debut in this film as a leading actor.
Music composed by G. K. Venkatesh and lyrics were written by Kannadasan Poovai Senguttuvan and Muthulingam(Intro). The play back singers consists of Sirkazhi Govindarajan, P. Suseela, L. R. Eswari, S. Janaki and S. P. Balasubramanyam.
