Point MacKenzie is a census-designated place (CDP) in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska, United States. It is part of the Anchorage, Alaska Metropolitan Statistical Area. At the 2010 census the population was 529. Seward's Success was once proposed to be constructed here in the 1970s.

Point MacKenzie is located at 61°22′30″N 149°54′45″W / 61.37500°N 149.91250°W / 61.37500; -149.91250 (61.374982, -149.912390).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 150.3 square miles (389 km2), of which, 148.0 square miles (383 km2) of it is land and 2.3 square miles (6.0 km2) of it (1.54%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 111 people, 39 households, and 26 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 0.8 people per square mile (0.3/km²).
