Plymouth Marjon is a British basketball team, based in Plymouth, Devon. The team was formed in 2009 following a merger between Plymouth Raiders II (the reserve team of Plymouth Raiders) and Plymouth Marjon Cannons (formerly known as Tamar Valley Cannons.
The current men's first team, competing in EBL Division 3, effectively form the reserve team and development programme of the Raiders first team, who compete in the British Basketball League. The team also operate a senior women's team who compete in EBL Division 2, South West.
The team's name comes from its link up with the University of St Mark & St John, referred to more often as Marjon. The University campus is the base of operations, headed by George Hatchell, and playing venue for home games.
