Philpot Lane

Philpot Lane is a short street in London, running from Fenchurch Street to Eastcheap. It is named after Sir John Philpot, former Lord Mayor of the City of London (1378-9). It is also home to London’s tiniest public statue; ‘The Two Mice Eating Cheese', which is situated near the junction of Eastcheap.

Brabant Court is located on the Western side of Philpot Street. It contains one of the few remaining Georgian residencies left in the City of London at 4 Brabant Court. Built in 1710, it was restored in 2013 and furnished with eighteenth century furniture.
