Philip Bracken Fleming (1887–1955) was a US army General and American ambassador to Costa Rica.
Born in Iowa, October 15, 1887, Fleming was son of John Joseph and Mary Bracken Fleming. He attended Lourdes academy and Burlington high school.
From 1905 to 1907 he attended the University of Wisconsin. He was Cadet at the Military Academy from June 15, 1907, to June 13, 1911, after he was graduated, he was promoted in the Army to Second Lieut., Corps of Engineers.
From 1951 to 1953, he served as ambassador to Costa Rica. He died on October 6, 1955.
