Phil Lipof

Phil Lipof (born June 18, 1973) is an Emmy Award winning news anchor at WBTS-LD, since its switch to NBC on January 1, 2017.

Immediately prior to working at WBTS-LD, he worked at NECN, having left WCVB, where he'd worked since December 2013. He came to Boston from WABC 7 in New York City, where he had been the morning news anchor on the weekends.

A native of Newton, Massachusetts,. Lipof is married to former WHDH anchor Juli Auclair. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1995 with majors in speech communication and writing.
