"Peter's Def Jam" is the twelfth episode of the fifteenth season of the animated sitcom Family Guy, and the 281st episode overall. It aired on Fox in the United States on February 12, 2017, and is written by Anthony Blasucci and directed by Joe Vaux.
At the Drunken Clam, Peter, Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe have a boring conversation that leads to them deciding to create a podcast. On their second podcast, Peter accidentally makes a mix-video that everyone likes. The owner of a club asks the guys to be DJs, and they swiftly agree. When Lois finds out about the DJ gig, she protests, but Peter rebuffs her. The group becomes a hit at the club and the owner asks Peter to be the headliner for an upcoming music festival called the Electric Clam Festival. Peter wants to consult his friends, but the owner tells him that he would do better without them. When rehearsing at his home, Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe visit him to gripe about him ditching them, but Peter drives them off with loud noise.
The next morning, Peter discovers that the loud music has made him deaf. Peter goes to the Drunken Clam and tells Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe of his condition. He asks them for help, but, because of his treatment of them, they decline. At the Pawtucket Brewery, Peter bemoans his problems to his deaf co-worker Stella and admits to feeling bad about the way he treated his friends. Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe then arrive and, through text, tell Peter that they have reconsidered and agree to help him. They go to the Electric Clam Festival, but Peter accidentally plays the audiobook of Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea. None of them can get it to stop and the audience disperses.
The following day, Peter tells the guys that he got fired from his DJ job and reveals that it wasn't the loud music that made him go deaf, but "fistfuls of Oxycontin." The four friends then reconcile.
