Pequot Lakes High School (PLHS) is a 9-12 high school located a few blocks west of Minnesota State Highway 371 towards the southern end of the city of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, USA. The school was built at its present location in 1976, and the music wing in the front of the building was completed in 2004. PLHS is the only high school in the Pequot Lakes School District (ISD 186) which includes Pequot Lakes and the surrounding communities of Breezy Point, Crosslake, Jenkins, Ideal Township and parts of northern Nisswa (the majority of Nisswa is in the Brainerd School District). The current principal, Chip Rankin, succeeded John McDonald in 2010.
The athletics teams are the Patriots. In the past ten years, the Patriot sport programs have achieved more success than in all the school's prior years combined. Some of these noteworthy accomplishments include:
