Pedro, Prince of Brazil (Lisbon, 19 October 1712 – Lisbon, 29 October 1714) was the second child of John V of Portugal and Maria Ana of Austria. He was made Prince of Brazil and Duke of Braganza upon his birth. He died at the age of two, making his brother Joseph (future Joseph I of Portugal) the new Prince of Brazil.

Prince Pedro of Brazil was born at the Kingdom of Portugal in Lisbon with the full name Pedro de Alcantara Francisco Antonio Joao Carlos Zavier de Paula Miguel Rafael. He was crowned with the title Prince Pedro of Brazil by the Emperor and Queen. They moved to the House of Braganza after baptism.

As the second child of John V of Portugal, he was under the title Prince of Brazil for two years and ten days until death.

When the Emperor and Queen were on a trip in 1714, Pedro and his mom were struck by an unknown disease. His mom eventually recovered, but Pedro died due to an unknown reason.

After that, the Emperor was devastated. Since in the future Pedro II and Imperial Pedro were going to be princes, he started to believe that the imperial line was destined to continue with those two princes. Another future thing was Princess Isabella, Imperial Pedro's sister, since the continuation was also going to be taken over by herself and the imperial line would end with the Emperor's death.
