Paula Michelle Sherriff (born 16 April 1975) is a British Labour Party politician. She has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dewsbury since gaining the seat from the Conservatives at the general election in May 2015. Sherriff was previously a councillor in Pontefract on Wakefield District Council.

On 11 January 2016, Sherriff resigned as a ministerial aide to shadow local government and communities secretary Jon Trickett.

On 21 March 2016, it was officially acknowledged that the ‘Tampon Tax’ would be abolished. Both the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Labour Party commended her work on the issue.
