Parinari excelsa (also known as Guinea Plum) is a species of plant in the Chrysobalanaceae family found in African mountain areas at elevations between 3,000 feet (1,000 m) and 6,000 feet (2,000 m). It is 150–170 feet (46–52 m) tall while its cylindrical bole is 60–90 feet (18–27 m). Its trunk is 3–5 feet (0.91–1.52 m) in diameter.
