The Parasuram Express (Tamil: பரசுராம் எக்ஸ்பிரஸ், Malayalam: പരശുറാം എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ്) is an express train run by Indian Railways connecting Mangalore, Karnataka with Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala and Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. It traverses the full length of the Kerala State during the day time.

The train (Train No: 49/50) was initially run between Cochin and Shoranur.The train was later extended to Trivandrum and Mangalore Central on both sides.In 2012 the train was again extended to Nagercoil.
The train derives its name from the legend of Parasurama, who is considered as creator of Kerala and Konkan Coast including Mangalore and Trivandrum from the sea. The train is also called as Day Express as it covers its most part of journey in day time.
The train No:16650 starts from Nagercoil at 04:20 AM and reaches Mangalore Central at 20:30 PM. In the return direction the train no: 16649 leaves Mangalore Central at 05:00 AM and reaches Nagercoil at 20:35 PM. The train runs via Shoranur -Kottayam route.
