Palazzo a Mare (Italian: [paˈlattso a ˈmaːre] translation, "Sea Palace"; alternative, Palatium) is an archaeological site on the north side of the island of Capri. It consists of well-preserved ruins. The palace is attributed to either Augustus, or Tiberius. In 1903, the Royal Geographical Society described it as:
