Paedophryne (from the Ancient Greek paedos (παίδος) "child" and phryne (φρύνος) "toad, frog") is a genus of microhylid frogs from New Guinea and the nearby D'Entrecasteaux Islands. All six species known so far are amongst the smallest frog and vertebrate species.
