BRIO was launched by PRO PLUS in September 2010 and replaces the former TV Pika. BRIO is a brand new TV program in Slovenia. Its broadcasts of top series, reality shows and movie hits also specifically targets female viewers in the 18-34 age group (Source: AGB Nielsen). In literary language, BRIO means fierce, lively and vibrant and POP BRIO brand is exactly that, with its modern, sociable, bold and trendy programming schedule.

BRIO is part of first Slovenian subscription package - POP NON STOP since September 2011. Six channels are offered in the package: POP KINO, POP KINO2, POP BRIO, POP FANI, POP OTO and POP SPOT.

In 2013, the package was cancelled along with KINO2, POP FANI and POP SPOT. BRIO, OTO and KINO remained, and are available for free.

In 2014, POP BRIO was renamed to just BRIO.



Pavel Vrabec can be placed among the pioneers of the Slovenian media area and its best experts. Before he started his career in the company PRO PLUS d.o.o. he was a successful manager on popular Slovenian radio stations. He joined PRO PLUS in 1996 as Director of Sales. In April 2005 he was appointed Deputy General Director and until December 2009 he performed his function with a professional approach and thorough, long-standing expertise on the domestic market and abroad.
