Pádraig Ó Céidigh ([ˈpˠaːd̪ˠɾˠəɟ oː ceːdʲiː]; born 1957/58) is the founder of Aer Arann and is an independent politician, appointed to be a senator on 27 May 2016.
He ran unsuccessfully for one of the three National University, losing on transfers despite being third on first preferences, but was appointed as one of the taoiseachs nominees.
Ó Céidigh has served as a Member of Governing Board of the Irish State broadcaster RTE, prior to his election to the Seanad.
