"Oye" (Listen! or Hey!) is a song by Gloria Estefan, released as the second single from her eighth studio album gloria!.
"Oye" is the song that bears the most resemblance to a club song on the entire album and probably the one that become most popular with this release. Unfortunately, in the U.S. the single was planned for commercial release on July 14, 1998 on various formats (CD Single, CD-Maxi Single, Cassette Single, 7" & 12" Vinyl), at the last minute the release was cancelled. The single was released worldwide and made it onto the highest position on other charts, including number one on the U.S. dance charts.
The song earned a Billboard Latin Music Award for "Best Latin Club-Dance Track of the Year".
The video was directed by colombian director Gustavo Garzón.
