Oscar A. Trippet (March 6, 1856 – July 15, 1923) was a United States federal judge.

Oscar A. Trippet was born on March 6, 1856 in Princeton, Indiana. He attended the University of Virginia School of Law.

He was in private practice in Princeton, Indiana from 1879 to 1887, then in San Diego, California until 1901, and then in Los Angeles, California until 1915.

He was a member of the Indiana State Senate in 1886.

He served as president of the Los Angeles County Bar Association in 1911.

On March 2, 1915, he was nominated by President Woodrow Wilson to a seat on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Californiavacated by Olin Wellborn. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 3, 1915, and received his commission the same day. He served in that capacity until his death, in 1923.

He died on July 15, 1923.
