The Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center, abbreviated as OMIC, is a facility located in Scappoose, Oregon focused on providing college students and manufacturing workers industry training. OMIC is closely patterned after and sponsored by the University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Research Center (AMRC) in Sheffield, England. On May 25, the Oregon Legislature approved funding of $7.5 million to OMIC.

The facility will officially open to the public in the first quarter of 2017.

OMIC is divided into two separate divisions. It is governed by transitional enterprise stakeholders and a Steering Committee. It's long-term goal for governance is to have a Board of Directors, a research and development board and a training center and advisory committee.

Located in Colombia County, this section will focus on applied research and advancement of products. It will work with industry and higher education partners in the state of Oregon. The 33,800 sq. ft. facility was bought in part by the $2.5 million in Oregon Lottery Revenue Bonds and a $1.7 million investment by the Oregon Institute of Technology.

The 25,000 sq. ft. training center with 20 acres of land is designed to allow Oregonians to get workforce training and apprenticeships. The operation of this center will be funded by tuition with federal and state grants. PCC is also investing $9.4 million in existing bonds to the Training Center.

The benefits of OMIC are cited as being 3–5 years of industry training, skilled workers, the creation of new technologies and integrated research.
