Operating Systems: Design and Implementation is a computer science textbook written by Andrew S. Tanenbaum, with help from Albert S. Woodhull. It includes Tanenbaum's MINIX, a free Unix-like operating system designed for teaching purposes. Publisher is Prentice Hall (1987).
