One Call Insurance Services was founded September 1995 in Sheffield, England by Mansfield-Based Entrepreneur John Radford who after working in the insurance industry for the last decade realised that service and price could be better. He set up One Call with the goal of cutting the cost of insurance at the same time delivering a high standard of service.
One Call has rapidly expanded since its inception in 1995 and now employee over 500 staff at their Doncaster based HQ and offer over 14 types of insurance. They also have an office in Derby where they operate One Call Commercial, an arm of the business dedicated to providing commercial insurance to business owners across the UK.
In 2001 One Call Insurance announced they'd become main shirt sponsors of Doncaster Rovers FC for the 2001-2002 season. In 2010 for the second time, One Call Insurance became the main shirt sponsors of Doncaster Rovers FC and are the longest serving sponsor in the teams' history. One Call Insurance also are the main shirt sponsors of Mansfield Town FC and hold naming rights to the Mansfield Town FC Stadium known as the 'One Call Stadium'.
One Call Insurance also hold sponsorship deals with multiple racing teams throughout the United Kingdom.
One Call Insurance has shown support for multiple charities, most notably they have raised over £60,000 for the Eve Merton Dreams Trust since 2014.
