Once Again is a 2016 Philippine television drama romance series broadcast by GMA Network. It stars Janine Gutierrez and Aljur Abrenica. The series premiered on May 2, 2016 replacing That's My Amboy on GMA Telebabad line up, and aired worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. This is also the first teleserye of Barro, Al-Alawi and da Silva after StarStruck. The series concluded its 12-week run on July 22, 2016 with a total of 59 episodes and replaced by Descendants of the Sun.
The series is streaming online on HOOQ as video on demand.
A tale of two people who fell in love with each other despite being in two different social classes. Reign, a rich girl and Edgar, a meek baker. Reign's family will arrange her marriage to Lukas, an elite bachelor in town. But Reign prefers Edgar more than Lukas.
As Edgar and Reign fight their way through the tussle, everything seemed to spiral down to a horrifying end when two lovers lose their lives because of Lukas. Edgar died due to drowning and Reign, due to her head hitting a rock.
But when everything seems lost, the two meet each other again after twenty years in a different era, and elsewhere as two different people but both still having the same strong love for each other as usual. With the phenomenon of reincarnation, Reign now lives by Des and Edgar by Aldrin.
