Old MacDonald Duck is an animated cartoon from 1941 in which Donald Duck is a farmer. Donald is disturbed by an insect when he tries to milk the cow Clementine.
The cartoon takes its title from the children's song Old MacDonald Had a Farm that Donald sings while feeding his animals. Later on, while milking Clementine, Donald sings also the American folk ballad Oh My Darling, Clementine. Also, there is once again, "Turkey in the straw" as backgroundmusic, as in "Steamboat willie" and "Band concert".
Frames from this short are shown in Donald Duck's 50th Birthday where Donald explains to Dick Van Dyke how animation works.
The short can be found on "The Chronological Donald Volume 1 disc 2.
