Ojus is a census-designated place and formerly incorporated town in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 16,642 at the 2000 census. Ojus is bordered by Aventura to the east, I-95 to the west, North Miami Beach to the south and Broward County to the north. Ojus is currently planning to incorporate and become its own city.

Ojus is located at 25°57′24″N 80°9′29″W / 25.95667°N 80.15806°W / 25.95667; -80.15806 (25.956720, -80.157917).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.3 square miles (8.5 km2), of which, 2.8 square miles (7.3 km2) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.3 km2) of it (14.94%) is water. Elevation is 10 feet.

It is in the Eastern Standard Time Zone.

As of the census of 2000, there were 16,642 people, 7,089 households, and 4,345 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 5,973.2 people per square mile (2,303.1/km²). There were 8,035 housing units at an average density of 2,883.9/sq mi (1,111.9/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 85.09% White (of which 59.5% were Non-Hispanic White,) 7.05% African American, 0.13% Native American, 1.74% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 3.08% from other races, and 2.86% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 30.60% of the population.
