Oh Ha-young (born July 19, 1996) is a South Korean idol. She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group Apink.
Oh Ha-young was born on July 19, 1996 in Seoul, South Korea. During her school days, she attended Seoul Yang Cheon Gu’s Shin Wol Middle School where she graduated in 2012, and School of Performing Arts Seoul where she graduated in 2015. Oh decided not to pursue college after high school to concentrate on Apink's promotions.
During her 7th Grade, she auditioned for Cube Entertainment where she later on became a trainee.
Oh was introduced as the third member and the maknae of the group in February 2011. She debuted with Apink on Mnet's M! Countdown on April 21, 2011, performing their songs "Mollayo" and "Wishlist" which were included on their debut EP Seven Springs of Apink.
She wrote the lyrics for the song What a Boy Wants which was included in the group's second full-length studio album Pink Memory.
In 2014, she appeared on some episodes of Weekly Idol as an MC along with Apink co-member Bomi. Oh was named as an idol MC for Weekly Idol in August 2015 along with AOA's Mina and VIXX's N. In 2016, she joined the cast for the all female edition of the SBS reality show Law of the Jungle which took place in the jungles of Papua New Guinea. During the filming of the said show, Oh was stung by a scorpion which almost caused her to leave the show early; she was later able to finish the entire filming without any serious injury.
