"Often" is a song by Canadian singer The Weeknd. The track was released on July 31, 2014 as the first single from his second studio album, Beauty Behind the Madness (2015). The song reached number 59 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 69 on the Canadian Hot 100. The song samples the song "Ben Sana Vurgunum" sung by the Turkish singer Nükhet Duru.
In the United States, "Often" reached number 59 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 69 on the Canadian Hot 100. In Norway, it reached number 12.
"Often" received critical acclaim, with critics praising The Weeknd's performance on the track. The song won two awards at the 2015 Much Music Video Awards, Video of the Year and Best Director.
