Now That's What I Call Music! 50 or Now 50 was released in 2001 on audio cassette and Compact Disc. The album is the 50th edition of the Now! series released in the United Kingdom. It is one of the biggest-selling albums of the series, going 6× Platinum and selling over 1,800,000 copies.
Now 50 features eight songs which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart: "Can't Get You Out of My Head", "Uptown Girl", "Hey Baby!", "Mambo No. 5", "Let's Dance", "If You Come Back", "21 Seconds" and "Because I Got High".
