North Thurston Public Schools, District No. 3 (NTPS) is a school district, providing educational services for Lacey and parts of unincorporated Thurston County, Washington, including the Nisqually Tribe Reservation. It is the 23rd largest school district in the state of Washington.
It is the most diverse and largest school district in the county with 21 schools, more than 14,000 students and 1,700 employees as of 2006. Enrollment is forecast to increase to 20,000 students by 2030.
NTPS covers 74 square miles (191.7 km2) of land ([map]) in northeastern Thurston county.
