North High School is one of two public high schools in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It has a student body of about 1,500. North's course offerings include five foreign languages and several Advanced Placement courses. It also has a foreign exchange program. The high school assistant principals are Amy Zais and Sue Kern.
North's sports program is broken up into three trimesters: Fall, Winter, and Spring. The school's mascot is the Husky, and the colors are Columbia Blue and White, though Red is also commonly used as a trim color.
The music department at North High School offers band, orchestra, and choir, with groups available at all skill levels. North's Jazz 1 made it in to the Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition and Festival in New York in 2012.
